Hardwood Floors Refreshing Shine Clean Los Angeles CA

Hardwood Floors add warmth, beauty and value to your home. They are a powerful investment in your home that reward you every day with elegance and also provide you with higher home resale values. The following guidelines will provide you with all you need in order to gain a lifetime of use from your unique and valuable hardwood floors.

Sealed Wood Floors

The vast majority of residential hardwood floors are sealed with polyurethane.

  • Establish floor mats or throw rugs at entryways and walkways to minimize the abrasion of the seal by dirt and grit tracking. Colorful oriental rugs for walkways and under tables are a traditional, attractive and effective way to protect your hardwood floors also.

  • Finish your floors with Quick Shine® Floor Finish for a deep, rich, long-lasting and protective glow. This step allows the beautiful finish and seal to last longer while enhancing the beauty of the hardwood.

  • Maintain the Quick Shine Floor Finish gloss by occasionally light cleaning with our solvent-free cleaner Quick Shine® No-Bucket Floor Cleaner ready-to-use squirt-top or our Quick Shine® Concentrated Floor Cleaner. You can also damp mop with a fresh, clean water dampened micro-fiber pad that comes with our Quick Shine® Hardwood Mop.

  • Refresh the shine with a new Quick Shine® Floor Finish gloss coat whenever you feel the rich glow needs a boost. As a general rule-of-thumb, high traffic floors should be refreshed every 2 months and low-traffic floors every 4 months.

  • Occasionally dry-sweep floor with our patented Quick Shine® Glide Sweeper or damp mop with our Quick Shine® Hardwood micro-fiber mop as an easy way to pick up debris, dust and pet hair from the floor.

Unsealed Wood Floors

These floors include hardwood floors that do not have a seal coat.

  • Establish floor mats or throw rugs at entryways and walkways to minimize the abrasion of the wood grain by dirt and grit tracking. Colorful oriental rugs for walkways and under tables are a traditional, attractive and effective way to protect your unsealed hardwood floors as well.

  • To maintain, damp mop with a fresh, clean water dampened pad that comes with our Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor mop or sweep with our patent-pending Quick Shine® Glide Sweeper in order to remove debris, dust and pet hair from the floor.

Above all, enjoy your hardwood floors. Nothing enhances the value of a home more than the rich, warm look of a beautiful hardwood floor, which will last a lifetime with proper care.
